In the artistic season 2014/2015 ROZBARK Theatre’s artistic leaders were a Dutch and Israeli duo Ivgi&Greben, which had previously worked with such ensembles as: Ballett am Rhein (Germany), Dansgroep Amsterdam and Introdans (Holland), It dansa (Spain), Modern Dance Turkey (Turkey), National Theatre Ballet (Czech Republic), Provincial Dances Theatre (Russia), Scottish Dance Theatre (Great Britain), Skânes Dansteater and Norrdans (Sweden), Scapino Ballet (Holland), and Tanzkompanie Theater St. Gallen (Switzerland). Ivgi&Greben are laureates of the Golden Mask in the category of best contemporary dance choreography awarded in 2011, in Moscow, for the spectacle entitled “This is not a love song” (created for Provincial Dances Theatre in Yekaterinburg, in Russia). For ROZBARK Theatre they created such choreographies as for example: “This Is Not a Love Song” or “I give you my heart”, which have gained recognition of both the critics and audience.
The 2015/2016 season has passed under the leadership of Anna Piotrowska, dancer, choreographer, director, contemporary dance teacher, British Council Awards 2004 scholar, and two times laureate of the SoloDuo Dance Festival in Budapest. In 2014 she created the performance entitled “i don’t wanna be a horse” within the international project “Recording Fields”, which premiere was held in Düsseldorf in tanzhaus nrw (realisation for the dancers of ROZBARK Dance and Movement Theatre in Bytom). In September 2015 the spectacle directed by Anna Piotrowska and performed by Łukasz Pawłowski ”toniejestpostawartystyczna! czyli premiery nie będzie!” (“this is not an artistic attitude! or there will be no premiere!”) was awarded the Grand Prix at the 13th National Review of Contemporary Monodrama in Warsaw and the Main Prize at the 3rd National Debut Monodrama Days in Koszalin. For ROZBARK Theatre Piotrowska created the choreography for the following performances: ”democratic body”, „toniejestpostawartystyczna! czyli premiery nie będzie!” (“this is not an artistic attitude! or there will be no premiere!”), ”Zagubieni w skórze” („Lost in Skin”) , “Umarłam w krasie, czyli przypuszczalnie żyłam” (“I died beautiful, so probably I had lived”), ”czytanki performatywne” (“performative reader-books”), or “Podziemne Słońca” („Underground Suns”).
